If You Are Having Troubles Connecting to the Radio Show, Please Read Below
5/17/07 Update. Lots of painful changes going on at World Talk Radio and unfortunately it has created some problems for the UltraFlight Radio Show.
First, many of the old links are dead. For the meantime, if you are wanting to listen to a segment from over a year ago, you can't at the moment. World Talk Radio changed their entire content management system (CMS) and that is where the actual audio files have been maintained. With the change, all of the links from UFR back to that content have gone dead. I hope to begin hosting content on my own server to both reestablish and prevent future lapses like this. As you may imagine, with hours and hours of content to be organized and uploaded, this may take awhile!
If you are an iTunes subscriber (And yes, I know lots of you are!), you've probably noticed that the iTunes links went dead, too. I've reestablished a new account with iTunes which you will have to access through iTunes. There is some good news there, though. Since I'm now managing that content now, there should be more information with the segments.
If you use any other RSS feed provider (such as MSN or Yahoo), I haven't yet figured out how to reestablish those accounts. Again some good news, though. UltraFlight Radio now has its own RSS feed. You can find it at: http://www.ultraflightradio.com/impodcastrss/rss.html
For fans of Windows Media Player, I'm sorry. World Talk Radio doesn't support that format anymore. In fact neither of the "Listen Now" green links work. You can download segments of the show to your computer for your iPod or for listening on your computer by right clicking on the red "Down Podcast" Buttons and choosing "Saving Target As" (for Windows users) or "Download Linked File" (for Mac Users). You can also try left clicking the red link. Some browsers pull up their own player so you can listen to the segment.
The "Listen Live" button has been redirected to the new station link and should work now, although differently. Now you will get a small window that will identify the segment and have an onboard volume control.
I certainly apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have many of the bugs worked out soon. There is a wonderful collection of voices on this site that I want to make accessible again.
Thanks for your ongoing support!
