Last week Roy promised that he would be taking the CFI-Sport Pilot Powered Parachute Knowledge Test and would report on the results this week. Well, the results are in and it is time to give credit where credit is due. A passing score was achieved and one of the key study tools used were the tapes that John and Martha King developed for the general aviation CFI knowledge tests. We talk about how to successfully prepare for the Sport Pilot CFI knowledge exams using those existing guides. The King Schools (12/21/04)

The King Schools are working to create four new, comprehensive training courses for flight students and instructors. Two of these new courses will prepare sport pilot students for both the written exam and flight test for the sport pilot certificate. They are also working on similar programs designed for instructors who want to earn the necessary ratings to teach sport pilot candidates.
