UltraFlight Radio

December 26, 2007

Earl Lawrence, Experimental Aircraft Association
For this special edition of UltraFlight Radio, we have one guest for one hour of wrap up for the 2007 flying year. We cover a lot of ground, starting off with the EAA's E-LSA exemption request. This request addresses the thousands of aircraft registered, but not yet certificated under E-LSA. Earl outlines why the request was made, what is being asked for and when the exemption request might be accepted by the FAA. The big news is that if you get your registration application into the FAA in the next few days, you may still be able to get an airworthiness inspection some time after the end of January.
