With FAA Certified Flight Instructors for Weight Shift Control Trikes so few and far between and with N-numbered trikes almost as scarce, one might wonder how you can get any training that would lead to a sport pilot rating. Not to worry. You can still get training from an ultralight instructor in an ultralight trainer that will apply towards your rating. However, there are a few things you need to be aware of when using this approach. Of course Terri will tell us what those things are and how they apply to more than just trikes.
