Charlie Becker, Experimental Aircraft Association
Skystar Aircraft, manufacturer of the Kitfox kit aircraft, declared bankruptcy last month. That left some aircraft builders with unfulfilled, fully paid Rotax engine orders who discovered that they would be getting neither their engines nor their money back. EAA is helping coordinate an effort to take a little bit of the sting out of the situation. They are working to provide a preferred pricing discount program for Kitfox builders who paid for but did not receive their engines.
