The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued new certification requirements for light-sport aircraft, pilots and repairmen. Dale Hooper, United States Ultralight Association
Recently one of the ultralight two-place training exemption holding organizations began sending out letters to their instructors. The organization was charging $25 to process requests for becoming designated pilot examiners under the sport pilot program.
