John Ballantyne, Trike Instructor
The trike movement has developed differently in the United States compared to other ultralights. In many other segments of ultralighting, the US produces a lot of the top line equipment. Dale Hooper, United States Ultralight Association
Recently one of the ultralight two-place training exemption holding organizations began sending out letters to their instructors. The organization was charging $25 to process requests for becoming designated pilot examiners under the sport pilot program.
