Dan Johnson, ByDanJohnson.com
A lot happened in the Sport Aviation world at Oshkosh this year. Not just one, but two major GA players introduced Light Sport Aircraft. Everyone expected something from Cessna, but the Cirrus introduction took a lot of people by surprise. Dan Johnson talks about the changing attitudes of the aviation world that occurred over the last week. ByDanJohnson.com (7/31/07)

Dan Johnson, ByDanJohnson.com
With Light Sport Aircraft being some of the big news at Oshkosh, the Light Aircraft Manufacturing Association (LAMA) took on more importance as well as two more board members. Dan Johnson talks it. ByDanJohnson.com (7/31/07)

Mike Loehle, Loehle Aircraft
Mike Loehle visits with us about the methods used to join the wood pieces in wooden aircraft. Mike also talks about the products used to preserve wooden structures before covering with fabric. Loehle Aircraft (7/31/07)

Bever Borne, Air-Tech, Inc.
The Sport Pilot rules were thought to initiate a return to Part 103 Ultralights. And while manufacturers that sell ultralight airplanes have seen some increase in interest, it doesn't seem that there have been very many (if any) new ultralight airplane designs introduced. Bever Borne talks about what some of the reasons may be. Air-Tech, Inc. (7/31/07)

Jim Sweeney, SweeneyCorp
One of the big stories to come out of Oshkosh was the new ASTM specification that calls out a minimum empty weight for airplanes. With the maximum gross weight of a Light Sport Aircraft defined in the regulations as 1,320 lbs, the minimum empty weight is designed to leave a reasonable useful load for LSA airplanes. SweeneyCorp (7/31/07)

Jim Sweeney, SweeneyCorp
A first time event happened at Oshkosh this year. Several aviation podcasters got together for a joint forum and broadcast. Jim Sweeney represented UltraFlight Radio at the meeting and he tells us about the event that you can listen to right here. SweeneyCorp (7/31/07)
