2007 Power Of Dreams Fly-In
July 4-8, 2007. Allen County Airport, Iola, Kansas. This year the 4th of July is on Wednesday so we decided to add an extra day to our fly-in. Come early and on Wednesday evening we will have a small covered dish dinner and watch the fireworks from the airport. You can see the Iola, Gas City, and Elks fireworks displays from the runway at the airport. We are planning on flying 22 miles for dinner Friday night and Saturday morning 18 miles to breakfast. The Iola Chamber of Commerce has a new Trolley car and on Saturday there will be a tour of the historical Iola for those who wish to attend. So if you plan on attending please pre-register ASAP and pay when you arrive. If for some reason you can not attend you owe nothing and we hope to see you next year. Iola Flyers.

Lost Stirrup Lodge High Altitude Fly-In
July 5-8, 2007. Canon City, Colorado. Once again, PPG pilots from across the country and overseas, will flock to the heights of Bob "Bubba" Peter's ranch in Colorado, West of Pikes Peak, for fun and games at the annual Lost Stirrup Lodge High Altitude Fly-In. Though a challenge for pilots from lower altitudes, no attending pilot has failed to earn this fly-in's coveted "High Altitude Pilot" patch. Earn yours this year simply by launching.
