UltraFlight Radio can now be found live on Tuesday mornings right here on the web at www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time and 7:00am Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it.
You can also hear (previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you.
To be a part of the show and you are in the U.S., you can call toll-free: 1-866-613-1612. If you are somewhere that the toll-free number does not work, you can reach us at 1-858-268-3068. Another (often better) way to get questions to us is by E-mail. You can write Roy at roy@easyflight.com
Paul Poberezny, Founder, Experimental Aircraft Association
We visit with EAA Founder, Paul Poberezny. We talk about aviation, the experimental movement, and frankly anything else this aviation icon wants to talk about. Experimental Aircraft Association
Dave Rogers, Powered Paraglider World Record Holder
Dave Rogers is a rare man. He's an American that holds a world record in powered paragliding. Dave tells us his story about that accomplishment and how he hopes to help motivate other US PPG pilots to get involved in world records and competitions. United States Powered Paragliding Association, United States Ultralight Association, Inc.
Thomas Janetzke, ZKE Films
Tom Janetzke recently returned from the NAB Show (That's the National Association of Broadcasters for the rest of us that just watch television instead of create it.) As a pilot, he's always looking for video equipment that can be used on aircraft or to film aircraft. He talks about what he found and about a new aviation oriented television show in the making. ZKE Films
Mike Stratman, California Power Systems, Inc.
Mike Stratman goes over piston maintenance with us. This is what many call decarboning an engine. For those of you following your maintenance schedules, or maybe just curious about what mechanics do to your engine when they "decarbon" it, you will want to listen in. Part 47, Piston Maintenance
Jim Sweeney, SweeneyCorp, NAPPF Board Member
If you're a regular user of 1-800-WX-BRIEF for checking weather or filing flight plans, you may be noticing some long waits as the service goes through some major restructuring. Jim Sweeney talks about what's causing the delays and reviews alternative ways to get weather information and file those flight plans. SweeneyCorp
Felice Apodaca, Brian Ranch Airport
We visit with Felice Apodaca about the eleventh annual "World's Smallest Airshow". We talk about the event and try to catch up with a year's worth of news from the Brian Ranch Airport. Brian Ranch Airport
Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (866) 613-1612. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!

Dale Hooper, United States Ultralight Association, Inc.

Robert Heimberger, St. Louis Rotocraft Club
Last time Bob Heimberger was with us, we talked about things gyroplane pilots could do to safely attend fly-ins and other events. We talked about points leading up to the initial parking of the gyro. In this segment we talk about considerations for the rest of a stop at a fly-in. This is great stuff for other pilots, too. St. Louis Rotocraft Club (5/8/07)

Ronnie Smith, South Mississippi Light Aircraft
As important as the exhaust system is on a two-stroke engine, some pilots let them get in pretty nasty shape. Ronnie Smith talks about how to keep your exhaust system in good condition. South Mississippi Light Aircraft (5/8/07)

Jim Sweeney, SweeneyCorp, NAPPF Board Member
Jim Sweeney talks about aircraft lighting. We talk about the day and night VFR requirements for light Light Sport Aircraft as well as how early and late Sport Pilots can fly and what kind of lighting they need to take full advantage of their privileges. SweeneyCorp, NAPPF (5/8/07)

Doug Maas, Western Powered Parachute Association LLC
Doug Maas briefs us on the upcoming Memorial Day Rally, now being held in Eltopia, Washington. We talk about why it's a good deal that it's a rally instead of a fly-in with this last hour change in plans. We also talk about other events happening in the Great Northwest. NW Powered Parachute Coalition, Event Flyer (MS Word Document) (5/8/07)
