UltraFlight Radio can now be found live on Tuesday mornings right here on the web at www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time and 7:00am Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it.
You can also hear (previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you.
To be a part of the show and you are in the U.S., you can call toll-free: 1-866-613-1612. If you are somewhere that the toll-free number does not work, you can reach us at 1-858-268-3068. Another (often better) way to get questions to us is by E-mail. You can write Roy at roy@easyflight.com
Scott Hughes, Hughes Aero Corporation
We visit with Scott Hughes about both good news and bad news. The good news is that the Predator powered parachute won a pair of awards at Sun 'n Fun this year. The bad news is that a great friend of powered parachuting, Frederick Scheffel, has been diagnosed with a debilitating illness. We talk about how that will effect the popular Color Country Chute Festival and competition event. Hughes Aero Corporation
Rob Dubin, Xenon USA
A new gyroplane made its debut at Benson Days this year. Rob Dubin joins us to talk about the French designed and Polish manufactured Xenon enclosed gyroplane. It's not even been in the US for a month and it's already an award winner. Xenon USA
Shawn Okun, Float Planes And Amphibs
Shawn Okun from Float Planes and Amphibs joins us to talk about his amphibious floats that were debuted at Sun 'n Fun. Pilots got a chance to try them out on an Airborne Trike. Shawn talks about how folks liked both the floats and the FPNA Valor A-22. Float Planes And Amphibs
Michael Zidziunas, Mike Z Sport Aviation
Mike Z is based at the Plant City Airport, which neighbors the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport where Sun 'n Fun is based. Mike stays busy as a Light Sport Repairman with a Maintenance Rating on normal days. Supporting vendors at Sun 'n Fun, the Wills Wing/Wallaby Demo Days and Fly-In AND three Rainbow Aviation 16 Hour Courses made these past couple of weeks even busier than normal. We talk with Mike about what it's like to be a repairman specializing in Light Sport Aircraft. Mike Z Sport Aviation
Dan Johnson, ByDanJohnson.com
You have to know that with Sun 'n Fun going on that Dan Johnson was in the thick of things as far as sport flying is concerned. We talk with Dan about all the things he saw and was a part of at this year's event. ByDanJohnson.com
Mike Fletcher, Light Sport Airplanes West
Light Sport Airplanes West has their big grand opening this weekend. Mike Fletcher joins us to talk about the planes to see and the activities planned for the event. Light Sport Airplanes West
Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (866) 613-1612. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!
