The first US built S-LSA powered parachute is using a Performance Designs parachute. One of the reasons is that Performance Designs has done the necessary testing and ASTM compliance documentation. Four Stroke Rotax Repair Station Qualifier Seminar
February 15-17, 2007. California Power Systems, Inc., San Leandro, California. This Rotax 912-914 operator Seminar covers all aspects of four cycle installation, repair, rebuild, and maintenance and will be taught by Rotax factory Trained Technician, Eric Tucker. Students will also participate in a complete 912 engine rebuild, disassembly and discuss correct procedures and maintenance for the 4 stroke series. Participates will be supplied all printed material including all Rotax Parts, Service, and Service Bulletin Manuals. Cost for the three-day course is $550.

27th Annual IUAC Ultralight and Light Plane Safety Seminar
February 24, 2007. Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, Illinois. The Illinois Ultralight/Light Plane Safety Seminar is the oldest and largest gathering of its type. Established in the 80's to address safety concerns with the then newly emerged sport of ultralighting, the IUAC advises the FAA and the Illinois Department of Transportation on ultralight issues, in addition to organizing the annual safety seminar.

Since moving to the Illinois Building on the Springfield, Illinois Fairgrounds, the Safety Seminar has been able to offer the 12,000+ square foot convention area to organizations in the ultralight industry to display everything from organizational literature to complete aircraft including -- fixed wing, trikes, powered parachutes, rotorcraft, and powered paragliders. As a service to the industry, there is no charge for those organizations that wish to display. Illinois Ultralight Advisory Council

2007 Kentuckiana Aviation Safety Seminar for Ultralight, Sport & Experimental Pilots
March 17, 2007. Ivy Tech State College, Sellersburg, Indiana. The clubs in Indiana and Kentucky are joining forces to have a big safety seminar replacing the events in Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Indiana and Lexington, Kentucky. They have a great line-up of speakers and are hoping for good support from some of the vendors in the aviation community.
