UltraFlight Radio can now be found live on Tuesday mornings right here on the web at www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time and 7:00am Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it.
You can also hear (previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you.
To be a part of the show and you are in the U.S., you can call toll-free: 1-866-613-1612. If you are somewhere that the toll-free number does not work, you can reach us at 1-858-268-3068. Another (often better) way to get questions to us is by E-mail. You can write Roy at roy@easyflight.com
Gerry Charlebois, Birds In Paradise
Thousands of people have been introduced to triking by Gerry Charlebois. His training operation on the Hawaiian island of Kauai has allowed thousands to learn about the joy of personal flight in a great setting. Gerry's photography and videography has been seen by even more people with dozens of magazine covers and incredible footage. We talk to Gerry about how he got started and some of the projects he's involved in. Birds In Paradise
Bruce Charnov, Hofstra University
We visit with Bruce Charnov, who's working on the documentary being made about his history book on gyroplanes. Besides the update, he tells us about some great movie finds featuring gyroplanes that will be included in the work. Hofstra University
Tim McCord, Performance Designs
The first US built S-LSA powered parachute is using a Performance Designs parachute. One of the reasons is that Performance Designs has done the necessary testing and ASTM compliance documentation. Tim McCord tells us about the testing process and gives us an update on people in the Deland area that have been hit by the tornados in that part of Florida. Performance Designs
Ronnie Smith, South Mississippi Light Aircraft
A listener that visited the Sebring Light Sport Aircraft Expo, attended a forum where fuel for the Rotax 503 two-stroke engine was discussed. He came back with some questions for Ronnie Smith about fuel octanes, storage, and Penzoil fuel stabilizer. We hit Ronnie with all of those questions. If you have questions while the show is live, IM them in on Yahoo Instant Messenger to UFRadio. Roy@EasyFlight.com is the address you can use to E-mail those questions in, if that's the way you prefer to communicate. South Mississippi Light Aircraft
Jim Sweeney, SweeneyCorp, NAPPF Board Member
Jim talks about the WingX Program for the Pocket PC. WingX is a tool for flight planning that has a lot of great features. Jim explains why someone that wants to fly cross country will really enjoy this software. SweeneyCorp, NAPPF
Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (866) 613-1612. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!
