Paratoys 2007 PPG Convention
February 1-4, 2007. Del Mar Estates, Salton Sea, California. Perfect weather is the norm with dry, light breezes and 70 degree temperatures. All Ultralights, Trikes and Powered Parachutes are also welcome at this show. There is plenty of flat hard packed sand to fly from for these aircraft to land and take off from. Competition Events planned- Foot drag, Kiting wars, Two man kiting wars race, pylon traversing, Spot landing, Bomb drop, All USPPA competition events will be done at this event, plus a few others just for fun. www.Paratoys.com.
2007 Arizona Flying Circus
February 8-11, 2007. Francisco Grande Hotel & Golf Resort, Casa Grande, Arizona. Arizona Powered Paragliding and LiteFlyers EAA Chapter 55 are hosting the 4th Annual Arizona Flying Circus. There will be a number of sponsors, equipment manufacturers and flight schools providing information booths for spectators. Additionally, there will be opportunities for spectators to take tandem, introductory flights in a number of light aircraft. Pilot seminars will be offered as well, ranging from motor maintenance, radio communications, safety in flight, and numerous other topics of interest. Spectators are welcome to the event free of charge. Food and port-a-jons will be available throughout the event. Arizona Powered Paragliding
Two Stroke Rotax Repair Station Qualifier Seminar
February 11-13, 2007. California Power Systems, Inc., San Leandro, California. The two and a half day course will be taught by Rotax factory trained Technician, Eric Tucker. The course covers all aspects of Rotax two-cycle repair and maintenance. Students will also participate in a complete engine rebuild, both air-cooled and liquid cooled, disassembly and discuss correct procedures and maintenance for the 2 stroke series. Participates will be supplied all printed material including all Rotax Parts, Service, and Service Bulletin Manuals. Cost for the three-day course is $550.
