Check Out The Schedule of Sport Aviation Events Below

UltraFlight Radio can now be found live on Tuesday UltraFlight Radiomornings right here on the web at www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time and 7:00am Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it.

You can also hear (previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you.

To be a part of the show and you are in the U.S., you can call toll-free: 1-866-613-1612. If you are somewhere that the toll-free number does not work, you can reach us at 1-858-268-3068. Another (often better) way to get questions to us is by E-mail. You can write Roy at roy@easyflight.com

Van Stumpner, Federal Aviation Administration
Van Stumpner joins us to tell us why powered parachutes and trikes don't need Emergency Locator Transponders (ELTs) and other mysteries of FAA regulations. He talks about the regulations that apply specifically to those wanting to transition their aircraft to Experimental Light Sport Aircraft (E-LSA) status. Light Sport Aircraft Information

Dan Nachbar, Skyacht Aircraft, Inc.
We talk with Dan Nachbar about his new type of aircraft called the Personal Blimp. It's big difference is that it uses hot air instead of helium for lift. By using hot air, the personal blimp can be rapidly deflated and stored in smaller areas than the huge hangars used for helium blimps. Skyacht Aircraft, Inc.

Erik Pederson, Phantom Aeronautics
Erik Pederson explains the manufacturers' process for creating a Special Light Sport Aircraft (S-LSA) airplane. We talk about the three big parts of the process; aircraft certification, production certification, and documentation required. We also talk about some of the changes made to the Phantom two-place to accommodate the LSA rules. Phantom Aeronautics

Mike Stratman, California Power Systems, Inc.
Mike finishes up the conversation about intercom systems. We focus on RF interference from the engine ignition system and how to eliminate it. Also, we get some last minute Christmas ideas from Mike for those shopping for a pilot. Mike can also answer your four stroke and two stroke ultralight aircraft engine questions. Do you have questions? When the show is live, IM them in on Yahoo Instant Messenger to UFRadio. Roy@EasyFlight.com is the address you can use to E-mail those questions in. California Power Systems, Inc.

Arty Frost
Arty Frost just finished her sport pilot licensing. A Drifter pilot for many years, she talks about how she went through the process of becoming a sport pilot and some of the things she learned.

Jim Hill, Ultralight Aircraft Of Iowa
Jim Hill is getting ready to host a trip to Las Vegas for a number of ultralight airplane pilots that have waited until the last minute to get transitioned to sport pilot. With the January 31, 2007 looming, learn how you can be a part of the effort. Ultralight Aircraft Of Iowa

Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (866) 613-1612. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.

Hope you get a chance to listen in!
