|
UltraFlight Radio can now be found live on Tuesday mornings right here on the web at www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time and 7:00am Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it.
You can also hear (previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you.
To be a part of the show and you are in the U.S., you can call toll-free: 1-866-613-1612. If you are somewhere that the toll-free number does not work, you can reach us at 1-858-268-3068. Another (often better) way to get questions to us is by E-mail. You can write Roy at roy@easyflight.com
Brian & Carol Carpenter, Rainbow Aviation Services
Brian and Carol Carpenter join us to talk about the successful completion of their Special Light Sport Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection Course for trikes and powered parachutes (as well as airplanes). The Carpenters talk about the course and what it allows the graduates to do. Rainbow Aviation (11/7/06)

John Carr, Writer, UltraFlight Magazine

There is a procedure that you need to be aware of when beginning as a new flight student. National Association of Flight Instructors (11/7/06)

Mike Stratman, California Power Systems, Inc.
Mike Stratman talks commo gear. He talks about the choices available like Comtronics and Lynx and some of the common (and solvable) problems people run into. Do you have questions? When the show is live, call your questions in at (866) 613-1612 or you can IM them in on AOL or Yahoo Instant Messenger to UFRadio. California Power Systems (11/7/06)

John & Martha King, King Schools
John and Martha King join us to talk about getting their trike and powered parachute proficiency checks. They also talk about their training materials geared to the sport pilot student. The King Schools (11/7/06)

Jim Robinson takes some time to talk about the upcoming 16 hour E-LSA inspection course the Robinsons are hosting at the Erie Airpark. He also reviews some of the fun had at this year's Challenger Reunion. Erie Airpark (11/7/06)

Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (866) 613-1612. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!

We archive shows for four to six weeks. But for your convenience, you can access segments from last weeks show straight from this E-mail. Just click on the segment number.
If this is the first time you plan to listen to the radio show, you may need to download a copy of Windows Media Player. Don't fret, there are versions for the Mac, too.

Steve Raklovits, Steve's Para Sports
Steve Raklovits has been working for years on systems that allow powered parachutes to take off from water. Steve's Para Sports (10/31/06)

Ronnie Smith, South Mississippi Light Aircraft
Ronnie Smith talks about preventative maintenance vs. waiting until something catastrophic happens to your engine. Ronnie also talks about some of the common two stroke problems he sees in engines during preventative maintenance inspections.
