UltraFlight Radio can now be found live on Tuesday mornings right here on the web at www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time and 7:00am Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it.
You can also hear (previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you.
To be a part of the show and you are in the U.S., you can call toll-free: 1-866-613-1612. If you are somewhere that the toll-free number does not work, you can reach us at 1-858-268-3068. Another (often better) way to get questions to us is by E-mail. You can write Roy at roy@easyflight.com
Keith Negal, Chairman, Royal Aero Club Of The United Kingdom
Keith Negal joins us to talk about an issue that can effect recreational pilots all across Europe. The European Aviation Safety Agency has published the Advance-Notice of Proposed Amendment (A-NPA) No 14-2006, "A Concept for Better Regulation in General Aviation (Aircraft other than Complex Motor Powered Aircraft, used in Non-Commercial activities)" That sounds ominous enough. Over the weekend of 7th & 8th of October the European Microlight Federation held its General Conference at the RAF Museum in Hendon, London. There A-NPA No. 14-2006 and the European microlight community's response to was discussed. Keith joins us to talk about how it's important that individual pilots across Europe respond to this A-NPA. Royal Aero Club (10/3/06)

Walter Tom Grimm, Trike Pilot and Position Light Builder
Tom Grimm joins us to talk about LED position lighting. Tom is producing LED position lighting and is working on a landing light made out of LEDs. He talks to us about the technology involved. E-mail Tom (10/3/06)

Tim McCord, Performance Designs
With the weather getting cooler and the farmers bringing in the crops and cover, all the rodents are looking for winter digs. Tim McCord tells us how parachute owners can keep their canopy safe from the vermin without causing other problems in the process. Performance Designs (10/3/06)

Ronnie Smith, South Mississippi Light Aircraft
Ronnie talks answers another listener issue about what the oil pressure and temperature readings should be on a Rotax 912. He also has a coolant update for the engine. Ronnie can also answer your four stroke and two stroke ultralight aircraft engine questions. Do you have questions? When the show is live, IM them in on Yahoo Instant Messenger to UFRadio. Roy@EasyFlight.com is the address you can use to E-mail those questions in. South Mississippi Light Aircraft (10/3/06)

Jim Sweeney, USUA and NAPPF Board Member
With Jim Sweeney talks about the responsibilities of the Pilot in Command of an aircraft. Just what is the pilot in command and what does that mean to the FAA? Jim talks about that and more. SweeneyCorp, USUA, NAPPF (10/3/06)

John Yonkin, UltraFlight Magazine
John Yonkin is getting ready to make the big motor trip from the East Coast to St. George, Utah for the Color Country Fly-In. He talks about the event, some of the things that have happened there in the past, and a unique offer from UltraFlight Magazine to pick up the fuel bill for the trip for some lucky traveler. UltraFlight Magazine (10/3/06)

Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (866) 613-1612. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!

Larry Clymer, FAA Light Sport Aviation Branch
Larry Clymer joins us to talk about the ultralight pilot to sport pilot January 31, 2007 transition deadline. There are lots of questions from listeners about what happens if people that were ultralight pilots on or before September 1, 2004 don't make that deadline. Of course the head of the sport pilot branch has the answers. Light Sport Aviation Branch (10/3/06)

Bob Holloway, Guinness World Record Holder
Bob Holloway holds two Guinness World Records for distance traveled in a powered parachute. He talks about his flights and how he got them into the Guinness Record Book. AgBob.com (10/3/06)

Bob Essell, Bob Essell Airshows
Bob Essell started flying general aviation airplanes many years ago, but then was bitten by the ultralight bug. Bob has done a lot of things with what we now call light sport aircraft, but one of the more interesting things is his father-daughter wingwalking act. Bob talks about the evolution of what is now a very unique act that has been seen around the world. Bob Essell Airshows (10/3/06)
