Check Out The Schedule of Sport Aviation Events Below

UltraFlight Radio can now be found live on Tuesday UltraFlight Radiomornings right here on the web at www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time and 7:00am Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it.

You can also hear (previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you.

To be a part of the show and you are in the U.S., you can call toll-free: 1-866-613-1612. If you are somewhere that the toll-free number does not work, you can reach us at 1-858-268-3068. Another (often better) way to get questions to us is by E-mail. You can write Roy at roy@easyflight.com

Dr. John Hastings, Chairman, EAA Aeromedical Advisory Council
Recently a story was published in Texas where the operations director of the Mesquite City Airport told the Dallas Morning News regarding sport pilots, "If they don't have to get a medical, or if there are ones who do this because they can't pass the medical, then they probably shouldn't be flying." While the newspaper seemed satisfied with her medical opinion, we talk with Dr. Hastings, who probably knows just a little more about the medical issues regarding sport aviation. Learn some things that didn't make the headlines
. Experimental Aircraft Association

Paul Hamilton, Adventure Productions
The new test questions are now part of the FAA Knowledge Test for Sport Pilots. Where there once was one test, now there are seven. Paul Hamilton tells us how to get the additional questions (and their answers) to prepare for the knowledge tests. Adventure Productions

Amy Wiley, Wiley Wales Powerchutes LLC
Amy Wiley recently completed the Light-Sport Aircraft Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) Course in Oklahoma City. Since then, she has followed through on the process and become a DAR. We congratulate her on becoming the first woman in the Sport Pilot DAR program and talk with her about her impressions of the program. Wiley Wales Powerchutes LLC

Mike Stratman, California Power Systems, Inc.
Mike Stratman talks about how to read your guages. With all of the information that pilots can get about their engines, it is important to be able to interpret the information to know what is going on in the engine. Mike sorts out Tach, EGT, CHT, and water temperature readings for us. Mike can also answer your four stroke and two stroke ultralight aircraft engine questions. Do you have questions? When the show is live, call your questions in at (888) 514-2100 or you can IM them in on AOL or Yahoo Instant Messenger to UFRadio. Part #38, Knowing Your Engine's Vital Signs

Greg Gremminger, Popular Rotorcraft Association
Greg Gremminger joins us to talk about cross country flying in a gyroplane. He also talks about a great destination for a gyroplane cross country, the PRA convention in Mentone, Indianna. We talk about the agenda for event and why you want to be there. Popular Rotorcraft Association

Ernie & Alice Baugh, Sho-Me-Chute Flyers
The Sho-Me Chute Flyers Annual Fly-In has grown into one of the bigger annual events for powered parachuting in the country. Besides offering a great time for powered parachutists, it is held as a fundraiser for Camp Quality, a local camp for children with cancer that is held each summer. Ernie Baugh joins us to talk about the event and what to expect there this year. Baugh Flight Park

Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (888) 514-2100. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.

Hope you get a chance to listen in!
