Dale Hooper, United States Ultralight Association
Dale Hooper joins us to give us the latest from the USUA. A committee has been formed specifically to address concerns from USUA clubs. Clubs have specific needs like insurance and airport access that need work. Also, USUA has just announced a BFI Program Rate Change. BFI fees are now priced at $75 per year. BFI ratings are still valuable to both the instructors and the flying community, but now this makes them a value, too. United States Ultralight Association

Lee Parker
Lee Parker tells the unfolding story of Alexis Peltier's tangle with the FAA in Key West, Florida. Alexis is the Kenyan delegate to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale's Microlight Commission. He's attempting to fly from Chile to Kenya on a flight that is meant to draw the public's attention to migrating birds. Instead, it seems to have drawn the attention of every enforcement agency in the United States. Grounded in Florida and with a limited window of time to complete the journey, we're trying find someone in the US that can help Alexis to get on his way.

Baron Tayler, PowerChute Education Foundation, Inc.
On the other side of the United States, Baron Tayler is preparing to embark on another long journey. His plan is to fly across the continental United States in a powered parachute. He's starting from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Midway in San Diego and (after flying through 14 states and covering 3,600 miles) plans to finish the trip on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown in Charlestown, South Carolina. Baron tells us all about it. PowerChute Education Foundation, Inc.

Ronnie Smith, South Mississippi Light Aircraft
Ronnie Smith joins us to talk engines and fuel. He goes into detail about some of the worries of using fuel with ethanol as an additive. Also, he covers what to check for when preflighting the two-stroke electrical system. Ronnie is also here to answer your four stroke and two stroke light aircraft engine questions. Do you have any engine questions? When the show is live, call your questions in at (888) 514-2100 or you can IM them in on AOL or Yahoo Instant Messenger to
UFRadio. South Mississippi Light Aircraft

Jim Sweeney, USUA and NAPPF Board Member
Keeping with the traveling theme, Jim Sweeney goes over the things to do if you get lost while flying. He covers courses of action, how to get oriented, identifying landmarks, navigation systems and (yes ladies) even how to ask for directions. SweeneyCorp, USUA, NAPPF.

Felice Apodaca, Brian Ranch Airport
Each year we visit with Felice Apodaca who helps put together the "World's Smallest Air Show". We talk about what is in store for this year and take the opportunity to find out what's going on in the flying world in Southern California. And yes, some people travel quite a ways to go to this event, too. Brian Ranch Airport

Remember, if you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (888) 514-2100. If you have a show idea or know someone that would be a guest on the show (that could be you!) Contact Roy.

Hope you get a chance to listen in!
